The Interactive Light Project

The Interactive Light Project
The main objective of this interactive lamp is to help people especially those who suffer from visual impairments. This lamp is mainly composed of three triangular bars with each holding an led strip. A potentiometer is placed at the rear side  of the device which can be used to adjust the brightness of the led. Located in front is an ultrasonic sensor that reads and interprets the distance which is then transmitted to the servo. With the micro servo attached to a rack and pinion, this mechanism allows the smaller bars to push forward whenever a movement is detected under its range.
